一、温故知新
1.Listen and do.(做第一册Unit 6 A部分Let’s do)教师和学生边做手势边说出：
Show me 1 and 2.
Show me 3 and 4.
Show me 5 and 6.

2.Guess(复习数字1-10)
教师举起右手做出各种表示数字的手势，让学生看好后，教师立即把手放到身后，让学生说出来。(速度由慢到快)也可小组竞赛，看哪组正确率高，在黑板上得星评价。
3.游戏：How many fingers?
1)教师伸出4个手指问学生：How many fingers? 学生回答: Four. 教师继续问：How many fingers can you see? 引导学生回答：I can see four fingers.
2)教师再伸出6个手指，问学生：How many fingers can you see? 学生回答：I can see six fingers.
3)让学生两人一组做这一练习。
二、新课呈现
1.教师分别出示画有铅笔、橡皮、蜡笔等的图片给学生：I have many pencils/erasers/crayons... here. Do you want to know how many there are? OK，Let’s count.
2.数完后，教师问学生：How many pencils/erasers/crayons can you see?让学生回答出：I can see eleven pencils, eleven pencils, eleven pencils. I can see twelve erasers, twelve erasers, twelve erasers. I can see ….(教师要注意及时纠正复数的错误读音。)

1.做游戏：报电话号码对抗赛，复习数字1-10。
将全班分成若干个小组，对抗赛在两个小组中进行参赛的每个学生都要准备一张纸，上面写一个六位数的电话号码，在教师宣布游戏开始后，第一组的第一名学生立即出示他手中的号码，第二组的第一名学生应立即用英文将这个号码说出来，然后该学生出示手中的号码，第一组的第二名学生应立即将这个号码说出来，说错或不能迅速说出的不得星，最后哪组得星最多为优胜。
2.教师播放第一册Unit 6A部分Let’s sing “Ten Little Candles Dance”的录音，让学生跟唱。教师在学生唱歌的过程中用蜡烛图片或实物做演示。
二、实物展示，学习新知。
1.教师依次在黑板上贴出写有英文单词1-10的气球，边贴边让学生认读。
2.做“找朋友”的游戏：教师准备好1-10的卡通数字，找学生分别把数字贴到黑板上相应的气球下面。
3.教师让学生猜一猜手中有多少蜡烛的图片：How many candles ?学生猜完后，教师把图片贴到黑板上，边贴边让学生大声数出来。教读单词：eleven。
3.教师依次增加黑板上蜡烛的数量，并询问学生：How many candles can you see?让学生用I can see… candles.来回答。同时教师教学生twelve, thirteen, fourteen, fifteen。

三、趣味操练
1.报数：Let’s play部分可结合学生平时上体育课的要求，请两小组的学生上台，先要求学生排好队(Line up)，然后要求他们大声报数1-15(Count from 1-15)。依次请各小组上台，比一比看哪一组排队快、静、齐，报数响亮、准确。也可在全班范围进行1-15的报数比赛，训练学生的快速反应能力。
2.猜年龄
教师事先准备好一批人物的图片，如Mike,Kate等，在图片的反面写上数字，如5，8，11，15等。这个游戏可以每一纵行为一组进行竞赛。由教师出示一张图片并询问每组的第一名学生How old is he/she?第二名学生轮流猜，依次进行。哪个组的学生猜对了就给该组记一颗星，然后接着往下猜。第一组的学生猜过后第组排接着猜。最后哪个组得星最多为优胜。
四、扩展性活动
1看谁的记忆力最好
教师可事先印制几张表格，表格上写有一些物品的名称和数量。教师发给每两个学生一张表格，游戏为两人一组。教师给30秒时间让其中的一个学生仔细看这张表格并努力记下来。30秒之后，由另一个学生问他：How many … can you see?这时那个学生要背着不许看表格来回答问题。看一看能够记对多少。然后，两人交换继续游戏。各小组之间可以互换表格，使游戏时间更长一些。自制表格如下：
